Disclaimer

Effective date: June 25, 2026 · Last updated: June 25, 2026

Please read this Disclaimer carefully before relying on any Woodalix Craft plans, guides, recommendations, or other content on woodalixcraft.com. It applies to all of our Deliverables and content and forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. General information only

The content on this Website and the Deliverables we provide are for general planning and informational purposes. They are intended to help you plan a project, not to serve as professional certification, and they should be used together with advice from qualified professionals where appropriate.

2. Design and planning only

Woodalix Craft is an online woodworking design and planning studio. We provide design and planning documents only. We do not manufacture, build, fabricate, ship, deliver, or install anything, and we do not perform on-site work or supervise construction. How a plan is built, sourced, and installed is the responsibility of the person carrying out the work.

3. Not professional engineering, architectural, or code advice

Our plans are not a substitute for licensed engineering, architectural, or contracting services. They are not stamped or sealed by a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or registered architect, are not engineering load calculations, and are not certifications of compliance with any building code or standard.

Consult a licensed professional For structural, load-bearing, electrical, plumbing, gas, ventilation, fire-safety, or anchoring matters, consult a qualified professional licensed in your state or jurisdiction — such as a structural engineer, licensed electrician, or licensed plumber — before building or making changes.

4. Permits and building codes

Building codes, zoning rules, and permit requirements vary by location and change over time. You are responsible for determining which codes and permits apply to your project and for obtaining any required approvals from your local building department or authority having jurisdiction. We do not file permits or guarantee that a plan meets the requirements of your specific jurisdiction.

5. Measurements and site conditions

You are responsible for verifying all measurements, dimensions, clearances, materials, and existing site conditions before starting any build or purchase. We prepare plans based on the information you provide; inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information may lead to inaccurate results.

6. DIY guides and tool safety

Our DIY guides are for general informational purposes and assume a reasonable level of care and skill. Woodworking and home projects involve power tools, sharp tools, dust, chemicals, and heavy materials that can cause serious injury or property damage.

  • Always read and follow the manufacturer's instructions, safety warnings, and guards for every tool and material you use.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment and work in a safe, well-ventilated space.
  • Follow recognized safe-work practices and any applicable workplace safety requirements.
  • Work within your skill level and seek qualified help for anything beyond it.
  • Do not proceed with any step you do not fully understand or feel safe performing.

You assume all risk associated with any build or activity undertaken based on our guides or plans.

7. Materials, products, and suppliers

We may reference materials, finishes, hardware, products, or suppliers as general guidance. Any such references are not endorsements, and we do not manufacture or supply materials. We do not warrant the availability, quality, pricing, load rating, or performance of any third-party product or supplier. Confirm specifications, load ratings, and suitability directly with the manufacturer or supplier.

8. Cost and time estimates

Any cost or time figures we provide are general estimates for planning purposes only. Actual costs and timelines depend on materials, labor, location, and market conditions, and may differ from any estimate.

9. No guarantee of outcomes

We do not guarantee that a build based on our plans will meet your expectations, fit a particular space, comply with applicable codes, or perform in a specific way, because these depend on materials, workmanship, site conditions, and other factors outside our control.

10. Accuracy of information

We take care to provide accurate, useful information, but we do not warrant that all content is complete, current, or error-free. Content may be updated or corrected at any time without notice.

11. External links

This Website and our communications may include links or references to third-party websites and resources. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, products, or practices, and a reference is not an endorsement.

12. Professional advice

Nothing on this Website or in our Deliverables constitutes engineering, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Obtain independent professional advice suited to your specific circumstances before acting on any information we provide.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Woodalix Craft and its team will not be liable for any loss, injury, cost, or damage — direct or indirect — arising from the use of, or reliance on, our plans, guides, recommendations, or Website. Your use of our Deliverables and content is at your own risk. This Disclaimer should be read together with the limitation of liability in our Terms of Service.
